Can President Joko Widodo Risk His Image As Mister Clean Man For Basic Budi Gunawan?
How can President Jokowi brag about Indonesia free of corruption under his leadership if he appoints a man stained with a circumstance of suspicious fat lender account? President Jokowi can no longer say that Budi's case is imprecise or only a gossip. The Corruption Eradication Percentage (KPK) has declared Budi as a graft guess. Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has good data with regard to deciding the status of legal suspect among public officials.

To the disappointment of millions of Indonesians, the Parliament (DPR) endorsed General Budi Gunawan with a near unanimous vote, introducing the way for his inauguration as the authorities chief. Will Jokowi, against all odds, go on with his idea to inaugurate Budi Gunawan as the Chief of Country wide Police? If he is inaugurated, Indonesia will have a graft suspect as the police chief, a humiliation for area and Jokowi himself as the President. Some Indonesians even accuse Megawati of being Jokowi's puppet master.
Hopefully, Jokowi is the President of Indonesia in the real sense. Many people expect that he will make up to his own in identifying such an important decision. Appointing a general with a clear prospect of becoming a prisoner of KPK in the near future is truly a bad idea for him to implement. That will risk his reputation as a clean man.
