Leading notes are rosemary, basil, artemisia, lavender, lemon verbena, bergamot and lemon; heart notes are coriander, cinnamon, carnation, juniper and jasmine; base notes are leather, sandalwood, fir, amber, patchouli, oakmoss, vetiver and cedar.

LaRoche only developed about a dozen fragrances. Drakkar Noir was his most widely used men's fragrance, while Fidji was his most favored female's odor.

It's highly effective and famous. I do believe Drakkar Noir and Aramis were the 2 most popular adult men's perfume from the 1980 decades. Drakkar Noir continues to a winner after years.

This parfum got me began being interested in perfumery - this was the stuff my brothers put on when I was young. Smelling this after twenty years returns a lot memories and would make me realize how great this cologne is still and was. Drakkar Noir helped me discover the smell of fresh crushed coniferous-leaves in it - which was a fabulous Drakkar Noir price connection because I enjoy that smell.

Drakar Noir is usually an intense, concentrated and hot-tempered scent with as much grip as smoothness; where lavender attaches the bright and fresh peppery-citrus topnotes with the more 'weighted' base that also displays ozonic, metallic and mentholic notes.

This is certainly a classic one, continually exceptional, signature, masculin as captivating, present as air, true as life, dark as night sky; it's just drakkar noir. Remebering it from late 80's i bought not too long ago one more bottle to re-feel the quality. Most likely the most highly effective and serious adult males odors at any time produced, very well combined ingredients that deliver a stable character of drakkar noir. Same sence in my situation from the spray until eventually many hours later, performs individually and slightly different to any skin tries that, functioning really effective in mine, in addition make ladies melt. Exceptional. This is the perfume a guy really should smell for me.

Visualize you at a forest's borders, smelling bouquets then walking into the woods and inhaling and exhaling deeply in the piney, resiny aromas while wearing your favorite natural leather jacket.

Drakkar Noir is one of the best male fragrances around though it's an oldie. Everyone loves the juniper and lavender appliance--so nice and clean yet dirty in a weird way. The fragrance has no doubt altered since 80's and 90's. I realize the original formula is different. I was right: the Drakkar pack had a 1989 trademark as well as print on the back of the package states that it had been built by a different corporation. I have to say, even though, that currently's variation of Drakkar isn't that bad and in some ways I like it better. Don't misunderstand me, the older formula is different, seems mossier and even more leathery and a touch richer, however it doesn't last as long as the current Drakkar. Over-all, Drakkar Noir is a wonderful perfume, classic or latest formula.

The first word from my girlfriend's mouth when smelling DN the first time? Sexy. One spray will do it, a max of two. Just do not go overboard, even with the recent variation. I really like spritzing this stuff over a windy Summer night time, the wind flow catches it just right and it's heaven.
