The ability to conduct analysis of business data is a critical success factor for many organizations. As business analysis practices and tools become more widespread, controlling distribution of analysis and reporting within an organization becomes increasingly important. QlikView Publisher gives organizations full control over QlikView application and report distribution. It automates the data refresh process and ensures that applications and reports are distributed to the right people, in the right format, at the right time. QlikView Publisher makes it easy to create routines that guarantee the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of business information. TekSlate QlikView Training

TekSlate QlikView Publisher ensures that users only have access to the documents, reports, and data they need to get their jobs done. Based on security criteria set by an administrator, Publisher can slice a QlikView application into multiple QlikView documents, add row level security, and distribute finalized QlikView documents or PDF reports to all authorized users. QlikView Publisher integrates directly with existing enterprise security infrastructure, making administration and distribution of business analysis and reports secure and efficient.

With QlikView Publisher, administrators can delegate rights to create and manage tasks in a secure and controlled manner, with full auditing. These document administrators work with a limited subset of the management interface dedicated to Publisher tasks. They can be limited to working with a subset of documents (e.g., only the finance or sales QlikView documents).

Any QlikView report defined inside a QlikView document can be delivered across the enterprise. The QlikView Publisher Distribution Wizard reloads the data, generates multiple PDFs, and delivers these reports directly to users’ inboxes or specified network locations. (Additional license required.

QlikView Publisher achieves scalability and resilience using web services technology. Administrators can cluster services together to provide load-sharing and balancing. Outof-box support for SNMP enables integration with enterprise system monitoring tools. External enterprise scheduling tools can trigger Publisher tasks using web service calls.

QlikView Publisher simplifies management of growing QlikView deployments. Publisher integrates seamlessly into QlikView Server and handles all your QlikView deployment needs, including: • Deploying QlikView applications to thousands of users easily and securely • Integrating with existing enterprise security systems • Managing row-level data security using QlikView section access • Delegating administration of subsets of documents • Achieving maximum scalability and resilience via web services technology, clustering, load balancing, and SNMP support • Distributing QlikView reports in PDF format to unlimited users via email (separate license required)
