United Kingdom is known for its pubs. Pubs are a substantial nationwide icon, associated with British way of life all over the globe. For anyone exploring the great British Isles it is definitely obligatory to see at least some of such establishments. It suffered some notorious celebrity for being located next to an execution site, used to execute saltwater crooks. Local client of this pub included many major historical individuals who found fame in literature and politics. It has modified its name countless times over the course of its extensive history, until finally acquiring the name under which it is known today.

Another old pub can be found in the city of Norwich, managed by Unique Pub & Co. It is proclaimed to be the eldest pub in the city, with a past that goes as far back as the late eleventh century. It is placed next to crucial cultural points of interest, so a person can delight in a stroll through historical attractions after a nice pub supper. The building that is on site today is, however, not the initial one that could be seen back in the eleventh century. The present building was constructed five centuries later and had certain highlights added to it, to make it more new looking.

Thavie’s Inn, based in the City of London is one the city’s eldest pubs. The building has recently been in the news after being bought by Evans Randall Investors. Its origins go back to the start of past thousand years, when the original building was owned by a loaded dude after whom the pub is named. He commended that the land be left to a church after his passing away, so it could hold learners of various positions. Even now, it still can be made use of by legal professionals. Later on the inn was converted into a pub, in the way that we recognize it today.
